Fishing At Johnny B’s
Come Visit—Fun for the Day or Stay for the Season
Fishing at Johnny B’s offers a versatile angling experience for enthusiasts of all ages, all located on our tranquil 200-acre property with mountain views.
Our campground features three distinct fishing ponds—each catering to a different fishing interest. The recreational pond is perfect for a relaxed day of fishing, while the tournament pond offers a competitive edge for more experienced anglers. For our younger visitors, there’s a dedicated children’s pond stocked with 1-5 pound catfish, providing a safe and educational environment for kids to learn the basics of the sport.
Among the species available across the ponds are catfish, bluegills, and targeted tournament fish, offering variety as well as specific fishing challenges. The benefits extend beyond just the thrill of the catch; fishing these species also aids in honing skills like patience, timing, and precision.
To add to the convenience and enjoyment, Johnny B’s offers pole rentals for those who might not have their own equipment. For moments of relaxation or family fun, there’s a picnic area and a playground adjacent to the fishing spots. Whether you’re a seasoned fisherman or a family looking for an engaging outdoor activity, Johnny B’s has something to offer everyone.
Ponds are open seasonally for recreational fishing, May to October from Monday to Saturday, from 9:30 am – 4 pm. Join us Catfish Tournaments — held every Friday and Saturday night from 3 pm – 12 am.
